AJE            Wheelie Bin Problems

I was told by a person (who is much more in the know than I am) about the fiasco of the City Council being reported to be threatening to prosecute householders if they leave their wheelie-bins on the pavement obstructing pedestrians, that the Council would prosecute these people.  (Evening Post reported it about a week ago).  But the binmen regularly abandon the bins slap-bang in the middle of the pavement.  (Talk about sauce for the goose and sauce for the gander).

This person has advised me that Cllr Brian Grocock (0115.915.0599) is responsible for much of the current administration,  Alternatively, give Harold Yates' (HY) office a call on 0115.915.5555 (switchboard, & ask for HY's office).

One of my complaints is that part of the contents of the plastic bag was on my front lawn, with the bag itself just waiting to be blown down the road when the right gust of wind came along
